Online shopping carts that continue to display an item even when it is out of stock. I don’t enjoy looking through a list of all the things I might have been able to get had I been able to get to your site earlier, modcloth and dreaminplastic – I’d rather see what I can buy now, and just that.

Lace Knitting

From the latest emails I’ve received from Knitpicks, it looks like the whole world is fascinated with lace knitting again. Caught up in the same addiction, I’ve started my first true small yarn lace project that isn’t a sock – and I’ve already ripped and restarted it 4 times now (go me!).

It’s the Cold Mountain shawl from Knitty and I’m making it in soysilk the color of edamame.

You can follow the pattern progress on ravelry – I’m trying to update about once a week.

If I have your program minimized to the taskbar in Windows, the context menu when I right-click on it should have ‘Close’ at the very bottom. That’s right, SQL Enterprise Manager – I’m looking at you.
Why, why, why would you break with such a basic expectation? I really never use Help Topics. It doesn’t even need to be on the right-click menu for this program!

I found this clip of Peter and Mia doing an after-class demo – unfortunately it was filmed from a cellphone, so forgive the audio.

If I make it to All Balboa Weekend this year, it will most likely be on a dance-only pass (thank god for the dance-only pass!). I’m hoping I can fill out my days with a few private lessons – ideally Mia and/or Peter, and Kelley and/or Mickey!
